from Oannes *

Mozart και ξερό ψωμί γι’ αυτό το μήνα, με παράλληλο μικρό αφιέρωμα στον Bowie + μια πλειάδα όχι ακριβώς δευτέρας διαλογής, κλασικών και ροκ μουσικών. Αν ο Δεκέμβριος ήταν “busy” μήνας, ο Ιανουάριος, Θεού θέλοντος, θα είναι ακόμα περισσότερο.
Μιλώντας για τον Mozart, βασικό μέλημα ενός λάτρη του όπως εγώ είναι η αποφυγή των χαρακτηρισμών και των βαρύγδουπων εκφράσεων.
Εξαίρεση ας είναι αυτή εδώ με την οποία αρχίζω το αφιέρωμα. Γιατί αν μπορεί να υπάρξει ένα μουσικό αντίστοιχο της λέξης “ευτυχία”, για μένα είναι το πρώτο μέρος [Allegro] αυτής, της Σονάτας για Πιάνο σε Ντο, έργο 545.
Το ακούμε απο μια σολίστ – μαέστρο ταυτισμένη με το πνεύμα του συνθέτη.

Mozart it is for this month, with a parallel little tribute to Bowie + a plethora of not exactly second-rate, classical and rock musicians. If December was a “busy” month, January, God willing, will be even more.
Speaking of Mozart, a key concern of an enthusiast like myself is to avoid designations and grand expressions.
Let the one I start the tribute with be an exception to this : For if a musical equivalent of the word “bliss” can exist, for me it is the first part [Allegro] of this one, Piano Sonata in C, K545.
We hear it performed by a soloist-conductor identified with the composer’s spirit.
