We hear the brilliant ‘Cantata for the Sunday Rogate’ (‘Cantate für Rogate’) by George Philipp Telemann. The work includes one of those “beyond description” moments (08:16) which are responsible for my preference for baroque above all musical genres.
Telemann-Kammerorchester Michaelstein performs under Ludger Rémy. The singers : Wilfried Jochens (tenor), Klaus Mertens (bass).

00:00 Erhöre mich, wenn ich rufe
01:49 Wahrlich, wahrlich, ich sage euch
03:12 Ich rufe Tag und Nacht
05:25 Noch keinen hat Gott je verlassen
08:16 Herr, auf Dein Wort verlass ich mich
11:30 Und was der ew’ge güt’ge Gott

Enjoy!

As always, I’m happy to hear your thoughts, however I’d highly recommend a direct dialogue with the …’source’ [why comments are closed here], so please visit Oannes’ page where you can also listen to the music !
