Γιός του αγαπητού λογοτέχνη Άγγελου Τερζάκη, ο 86χρονος σήμερα Δημήτρης Τερζάκης, Γερμανός πολίτης από το 1985, είναι ένας ακόμα από τους άγνωστους στη χώρα τους συνθέτες, που συνδυάζουν την ελληνική / βυζαντινή παράδοση με τα πρωτοποριακά ιδιώματα των μέσων – τέλους του 20ου αι.
Από τον κατάλογο των έργων του διαλέγουμε ένα, ‘Die Farben Des Ozeans‘ για εκκλησιαστικό όργανο (Almut Röβler) και ένα, ‘Oktoechos’, για Κλαρινέτο, Φαγκότο, Κόρνο, 2 Βιολιά, Βιόλα, Βιολοντσέλο και Κοντραμπάσο.

Son of loved writer Angelos Terzakis, the now 86-year-old Dimitri Terzakis, a German citizen since 1985, is another composer unknown in their country, who combine the Greek / Byzantine tradition with the avant-garde idioms of the mid-late 20th century.
From his list of works we pick one ‘Die Farben Des Ozeans‘ for church organ (Almut Röβler) and one, Oktoechos, for Clarinet, Bassoon, Horn, 2 Violins, Viola, Violoncello, And Double Bass
