Μια ακόμα “θυελλώδης” μουσική φυσιογνωμία του April born club είναι ο Sergei Rachmaninoff (1873-1943), από τον κατάλογο του οποίου διαλέγουμε τις Études-Tableaux, έργο πιανιστικό, του οποίου κάποια μέρη έχουν αποδοθεί σε ιδιαίτερα ενδιαφέρουσες ορχηστρικές βερσιόν από τον Ottorino Respighi. Ακούμε δυο από αυτές : The Sea And Seagulls (00:00) και Little Red Riding Hood & The Wolf (07:16).
Τη Συμφωνική του Σίδνεϊ διευθύνει ο πιανίστας – μαέστρος Vladimir Ashkenazy.

Another “stormy” musical figure in the April born club is Sergei Rachmaninoff (1873-1943) from whose catalog we pick Études-Tableaux, a piano work, some parts of which have been rendered in very interesting orchestral versions by Ottorino Respighi. We hear two of them: The Sea And Seagulls (00:00) and Little Red Riding Hood & The Wolf (07:16).
The Sydney Symphony Orchestra is conducted by pianist – maestro Vladimir Ashkenazy.
