Δυο σύντομα κομμάτια του Olivier Messiaen, από τους μεγαλύτερους συνθέτες εκκλησιαστικής μουσικής του 20ου αιώνα, και όχι μόνο αυτής :
Το Les eaux de la grâce (00:00) προέρχεται από τον κύκλο Les Corps Glorieux, ένα από τα πρώτα έργα του για εκκλησιαστικό όργανο – η σύνθεση ολοκληρώθηκε τον Αύγουστο του 1939, μια εβδομάδα πριν την κήρυξη του Β’ΠΠ.
Το Adoro Te (2:59) από το Livre du Saint Sacrement της τελευταίας περιόδου του Messiaen – η πρεμιέρα του, παραγγελία της Αμερικανικής Ένωσης Οργανιστών έγινε στο Ντιτρόιτ το 1986, 6 χρόνια πριν από το θάνατo του συνθέτη.

Two short pieces by Olivier Messiaen, one of the greatest composers of (not only) church music of the 20th century.
Les eaux de la grâce (00:00), derives from the cycle Les Corps Glorieux, one of his first works for organ – the composition was completed in August 1939, a week before the declaration of World War II.
Adoro Te (02:59) from the Livre du Saint Sacrement, of Messiaen’s last period – its premiere, commissioned by the American Union of Organists, took place in Detroit in 1986, 6 years before the composer’s death.
