…Και ένα από τα πρώτα, αν όχι το πρώτο, “στιχουργικά ανήσυχο” τραγούδι του John από το Beatles For Sale, άλμπουμ – πρώιμο σταθμό στην πορεία των Beatles. Κάνοντας ένα διάλειμμα από τις ηχογραφήσεις του, το γκρουπ είχε γνωριστεί με τον Dylan και, μέσω αυτού, με την ινδική κάνναβι. Η επιρροή του είναι αισθητή στο συγκεκριμένο κομμάτι, όπως και η επιρροή των Λιβερπουλιανών στην επί το ηλεκτρικότερο, δική του εξέλιξη.

…And here’s one of John’s first, if not the first, “lyrically aware” song from Beatles For Sale, an album – early milestone in The Beatles’ career. Taking a break from recording it, the group had met Dylan and, through him, cannabis. His influence is felt on this particular song, as is the influence of the guys from Liverpool to his own, electric sound-oriented development.
