It is 3 a.m. and your work is soothing the night.
Oh, this is different than what I’ve seen before from you, Marina, and I really like it. the striations of color, that foamy top. The black, the solid orange on the right. I have no idea what I’m looking at, and that is just perfect. 🙂
Thank you Katie! This is a detail of one of my hurricane candles. A few years back I started my candle design project: MARWAX, where I experiment with colours and shapes on wax [a very “warm” medium!]. I hope I’ve not spoiled it for you!
Ah, that’s what it is! Wonderful to know. I can envision it now. And how beautiful to work in wax that way, Marina. Great detail shot too. 🙂
