I am going backwards through your posts – this is another that I would love to see printed and mounted, as I am sure my monitor only gives a hint of visual impact.
David.
You are very kind David! Thanks! Have a wonderful new week!
As always, beautiful, beauiful, beautiful!
Ah, Karen, thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
Thank you for stopping by and the following 🙂
You are very welcome. Thank you too for the visit!
Your work is excellent. WELCOME! Thank you for subscribing to follow my blog. I hope you are encouraged, inspired and enjoy the photos I take concerning life and events I see as I journey through my retirement years. Looking forward to sharing post with you in the future.
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!
Thank you, Francine for your kindness. Your blog is inspiring indeed! Happy to follow! Have a beautiful week!
I have said it before, but your paintings are teally fab on the different items! I want one!:))))
One day, I hope to be giving them away as gifts!!!!!
I want a holiday with a scene
Of green, green and green
I wish you do dear!!!!!!!!!!
xxxxxx
🙂
Wow! I saw that, said “Wow!” and stopped breathing! Wow!
Wow!!
Thank you Charlie! I suppose “wow” was my reaction too when I finished it because it took AGES! Not like my other paintings…
Beautiful!
Thank you, Reno!
Absolutely BREATH taking. I’ve been soo behind in reading blogs, two weeks plus, please forgive me! New job meant actual work, instead of um, lavishing in your art all day.
Work is a good thing my dear! No need to apologize! So glad this was a nice break for you!!! 🙂
your art inspires me to keep pursuing mine. I recently had a really negative experience from a control freak art ‘teacher’ as I think real teachers don’t scold you, stare at you, and control you. I nearly hung it to dry, this art, and I realize now that I have to keep going. How did you develop your art? Was it all self-taught or pushing oneself or lots of practice? I have such a greater appreciation for artists like yourself after developing mine 😀
I’m very sorry to hear about your teacher! My artistic history probably has a bit of everything. I paint and write music since 4. School, conservatory [piano, classical singing, jazz improvisation], art college [good tutors] and then life and work! My tendency was learn, then forget! Don’t ask why! I hope you reconnect! Don’t worry though because it will come naturally! Have a great day …and week [Monday now]! 🙂
Wow, you’re amazing! And thank for encouraging me! It’s been really tough, but I feel an incredibly important outlet for me. Thank you sooo much for reminding me of kinder colors in life 😀
Pink.
These colours are always there, you just have to open your eyes to them!
Have a beautiful day dear Pink!
🙂
Another good one, but how is it a digital painting?
Thank you, Stephen! It was painted on photoshop. My paintbrush was my pen [tablet]. Started off from a blank page -no presets- et voila! Same process -and strangely slower!- as traditional painting but different medium.
Well, it certainly comes out great.
Thick moving strokes. Like a dense forest indeed. Great color variations.
Thank you, Walter!!! 😀
The painting is super on the items….
I’m glad you think so, Ann! I was also impressed!
This one is great, Marina. One of your works I like the most.
Thank you, Bente! I’m glad you like it.
hi Marina,
oh this thick forest looks
like a forest in Brazil / Amazonas!
New: without white: congrats!
More impressive I believe!
Kind of expressionism now
(I like Emil Nolde)
Ah, Frizz, thank you SO much!!!! Yes, I like his work too!
Wow, that’s amazing – and a unique view of the forest! The feeling of movement among the trees feels magical
Thank you so much Fergiemoto for your beautiful comment!!!
Oh, Marina! I love this forest! It looks like magical place full of light!
Just made the artist very happy! Thank you dear!
This looks like a forest on an ocean floor! Beautiful.
Ah, that sounds sooooo nice, Karen!!!! Thank you!
I love it, Marina! Such a thick forest too. xo
Thank you, Deb!!! 🙂 !
I love your art shop. That must have been quite an investment. How is it doing?
Thank you Carla! Well, it is an investment in time really because I only provide my artwork for each item and cafe press does the rest. It is probably too early to tell…
good – glad you are doing the creative part!
in this one, the brush strokes catch me eye more than the color.
I think I know what you mean! Thank you, Frank!
Well … What I think is brush strokes is probably your technique to get that appearance … nonetheless, I was it with praise. 🙂
:-)!!!
Fantastic Marina!! I love it 🙂 Your art always makes me smile 🙂
…your photographs do that too, Adam! Thank you so much! 😀
Wonderful line and texture – forest spirits dance here – thank you for your continued support of art rat cafe…
My pleasure! Thank you for such a beautiful comment!
You are very welcome…
Beautifully captures a forest environment. Being from a forester heritage I love it Marina. Many thanks.

Thank you!!! You never know, I may have been and not know! 🙂
This is nice – and quite distinct from some of your other paintings (which I also really like), if I’m not mistaken
Thank you Rudolf. Yes, you’re right. A very different medium [digital painting] and different approach! I’m very glad you like it!
