  1. kalimera, marina! very interesting article about bees…i hav anothr blog that deals with these topics, and i covered an article showing how all of us can encourage bees…its a shame canada being such a huge place hasnt got the will to do anything as yet! something else i learnt recently too…may shock u to hear it, marina….scientists working for the big pharmaceutical companies hav discovered that bees can learn to detect cancer cells within a couple of hours….:0ur a very intelligent woman, marina…do u understand what im saying here? cancer detection…bees…sudden decline of….;)

      • LOL! i did say u are an intelligent woman! i knew you’d know..if know what i mean…!
not only, bayer, marina….the biggest monster of them all..monsanto…sshhh..i heard theyre continually monitoring the net to weed out people who make derogatory comments about them…i dunno if its true..but u never know…and of course u know about the cancer cure? it was found years ago..but the pharma companies hav suppressed it…my friend is a bio-mediacl scientist..he told me all about it…something to go to sleep thinking about…but what can we do,,,nothing! goodnight, sleep tight marina..kali spera

        • Well, they are the grand masters…. Europe is trying to resist but I don’t know how long before it bows to M. We can certainly try finding non gmo food and [if codex alimentarius allows us] grow our own! We can dream of a better world though and I am off to doing just that!
          Goodnight, my friend.

          • yes, indeed!
thats why i have a little plot of land where i am…i try and grow my essentials there, lik potatoes, tomatoes, and a whole lotta other stuff.
ive always loved growing things since i was a child…my graden is like a wonderland…small trees, shrubs of all kinds, little hidey-holes completely hidden by plants, where i can hide away for long hrs when i need to be with nature…so yes…as u say M and Byr are just 2 of the main grand masters…there are more yet…not going to mention them but u get the idea 😉
that thing about cancer and the bees…thats really so surreal and frightening….whatever next….supose u know about chem-trails as well?
anyways, its holidays…good morning from merry england!

            • Ah, yes… that’s our little dream too. To live in a little country house with a garden where we’d plant all kinds of veggies, fruit, trees and flowers! [preferably by the sea!]
The cancer & bees thing is absolutely disgusting…
Unfortunately, I knew about chem-trails. Some fear that we\re being sprayed with stupidity gasses! it wouldn’t surprise me. We all seem to be helpless and numb…
However, New Year’s Eve ante portas, so on a happier note: enjoy your British holidays and may 2014 be kind and prosperous in every way!

    • Απ’το στόμα σου… κυρίως για το δεύτερο!
Υγεία, πολλά χαμόγελα όπως λες και κάθε καλό, Ιωάννα μου! 🙂

  2. Vedo nuvole in viaggio

Please note that all the expensive gifts under your tree signed, “from Santa”, are actually from me 🙂

  7. ‘Twas the night before Christmas, and all thru the blog
Not a keystroke was stirring, not a wheel nor a cog

My stocking was hung by the iMac with care
In hopes a Greek Goddess soon would be there

And then in a twinkling an image appeared
A painting all sparkly, and a sprite with no beard

I’m Marina The Elf! she cried with a wink
Now give me some cookies, and something to drink!!

    Wow! What a great Christmas… : )

    • Where is my milk and cookies?!!!!!! 😆
I think I am becoming a split personality: half lamb half elf… what would my language be? ‘Shelf’ or ‘Lelf’?
Thank you, my dear Mark. This little lelf is jumping up and down of joy!
Sending you milk and cookies for your beautiful Christmas card!! 🙂

    • maybe not as soon as we move in, as I can just picture me being as stiff and tired as ever, but I’m sure that by the end of January I will feel even better than before!! 🙂

    • ‘avoid’? that sounds like an impossibility! So true!
And the added ‘pleasure’ of packing in the midst of holidays doesn’t make it any less busier! 🙄
Merry Christmas to you too, my dear Deb! Hugs + xxxxxxx 🙂

      • I meant the crazy part of, not Christmas itself. 🙂
Oh yes, packing in the midst of it makes it even busier!
Merry Christmas to you and yours, Marina!
        Love and hugs xxx

I like the white spaces inthe design. I’m a terrible critic for you. i like everything you do.

  13. M. K.

Will miss your art over the Holidays. Remember to take pictures of those familiar things you love but take for granted before you move, and take pictures of the novel things you see on your way and upon your arrival. I look forward to seeing your impressions of them in your art sometime.
With thoughts of Milk and Cookies for you and yours, Merry Christmas!

    • R.L.
Milk and Cookies thoughts are just about the nicest most warm and beautiful words I’ve received for Christmas, thank you, from my heart. Loved the reminder, I will do that! Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones, Russ!
