Happy seventh month, everyone!

June’s heavy schedule continues in July too, so this post is half there!  Sending everyone my best wishes for this month as I kindly ask for your patience with my sporadic visits!  🙂

About months & numbers: Back in September 2015, inspired by Bumba’s “The Numbers Game Is Here: Mathematics for DummiesThe Whole Nine Yards, I started working on images for each month. First month was September, so this series will be completed in August 2016!

  5. Truth and true desire
    are sweet blessings
    which shall never fade

    They will make amazing
    smiles come to life
with the coming each new day

They will lift up hearts to
    taste of new joys which
    will daily make hearts sing

    and they will provide many
    memories with the blossoming
    beauties which they bring

And one will always have a
    treasure which they will
    embrace their entire life

    Finding each day as they
    open their eyes they will
    always be filled daily…

  15. Great colours, Marina, great potential T-shirt slogan (“Truth, Trust, True Desire”) – and an honourable and unexpected mention for Genesis and one of their lesser known but most appealing early albums… RH

  16. mobius faith says:

another fantastic abstract. Love the balance in this image between shape/form. Great composition. Wonderful color. Really well done.

  19. aFrankAngle says:

Definitely a toast to the prime of summer. Love the way the 7 serves as a border/divider to segments within. As usual, excellent color combinations! Hope all is well! 🙂

  20. Resa says:

A perfect piece for July…. hot fun in the summer sun! I suppose in the southern hemisphere it would be hot fun in the winter sun. (I’ll take the rubies!) Wonderful,Marina! xoxoxo

  21. July is my Birthday month., and I love rubies. Your Ruby 7 design is so vibrant, Marina. Happy July. 🙂 xx

  22. Patricia says:

Thank you, Marina, for the numerology inspiration and your creative talent! Wishing you a very happy July! -xx

    • A belated thank you, my dearest friend! A most wonderful July to you too! [I’m taking a breather from my heavy schedule and the internet connection is very slow here]. Hugs and love xxxxxx

  23. Dearest, I missed some post and was very busy first, then got a virus flu (yes, rarely happens even in Summer) with high fever… I am almost recovered and start making some order of my things. I enjoyed the song thinking back in the past years of my youth.
    Hugs and kisses 🙂 Claudine

    • Oh, no… I’m also late responding [too much work and I’m currently taking a short break so that I can continue afterwards]. I’m sure you are much much better now and totally healed! Yes… [re: Genesis] they don’t make them like that any more, do they?! Many many hugs and love xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  24. clinock says:

July, my birth month, and you portray it so beautifully Marina. Love your design and the Genesis song. It’s been a very wet and warm summer so far here on the Pacific coast of Canada. Unlike your Mediterranean colours it’s been mostly grays and greens, interspersed with a multitude of blossoms. Wet green is easier to live with than dry brown…

  25. Vibrant and hot! Hope you get everything done you need to Marina, and enjoy the 7th month of the year x

    • Thank you, my dear Pam. Still more work ahead but I’m taking a short break to clear my mind and continue afterwards [hence my late answer]. Back soon and hope to do my July follow up before the month ends! 😉 Happy 7th month to you too.

  26. Bumba says:

The seven works perfectly in the design. Thanks for the mention. Wow, you’re completing a year of number madness.

    • Number madness indeed!!!!! And who do I have to blame for, huh?!!!!!
Thank you, my dear friend. It’s been [well still one more to go] a great project to work on. Quite significant to me too as it began with the departing of my very dear 4legged companion. As you mentioned some time ago, it kept me on my feet! Double ‘thank you’! 😉

  27. Anonymous says:

    A beautiful work, Marina!

  28. Lucid Gypsy says:

Marina this is very striking as always your work is joyful. I shared at 7am, that just has to be lucky!

    • Oh, it most definitely will be!!!!! A belated thank you, my dear friend. I’ve been on a heavy schedule at work and I am now taking a very short break to clear my mind and continue afterwards.

  29. yarnspinnerr says:

    Ruby Seven is beautifully crafted.

  30. Rajagopal says:

Tasteful combination of colours to denote ruby seven, ushering in the second half of the year. The superstructure of happiness and contentment is being erected on a foundation of hope, goodwill and togetherness. Continue dipping your brushes in shades of love and optimism, marina, and sing more joyful songs….

    • My dear Raj, your beautiful words are a fountain of joy. Thank you so much. I’ll continue dipping my brushes and may they paint joyful songs for kind spirits like you! 🙂

  31. jmsabbagh says:

Splendid design.Wishing you all the best.
