Moon Phase: Waxing Gibbous • Visible: 98,8%↑ • Age: 13,7 days
Less than a day before January ends and this month’s second Full Moon: a Super Moon – Blue Moon and a Total Lunar Eclipse!!!!!!
I’ve been offline most of January, as I’ve been swept by creative winds… hopefully I’ll be landing soon! 😉 I look forward to see what all my friends have been up to. There were many posts I’d planned on posting this month but art [and living for that matter] can be quite selfish and possessive. However I managed to sneak out for a bit to post my December [yep!] retrospective instagram shots.
My picks this month are six:
• A lovely sunrise cloud • An intricate frame of branches for a moon • A bird making its flight towards the moon • My tree knight with his feathered hat showing Athens to passers by • A red / orange sunrise and • An airplane following my lenses course on a foggy day.
Note: the photos on the tiled gallery are showing in random order, so every time the page refreshes, you see a different order.
Check out my Instagram account for updated shots.
Enjoy the majestic moon tomorrow!
ps. Art calls, but one way or another I will be responding, my dear dear friends!

It would be difficult to pick a favorite among these beauties – but of course there’s the dog and dogs win! Really nice pictures (and always good to choose life over screens. Go for it)
I know what you mean and yep, they always win! 😉 Thank you, my friend. I’m gradually trying to merge the two [life and screens! 😉 ] Enjoy March, Phil! 🙂
Beautiful and phenomenal photography, Marina. Miss you my friend.
Welcome back! Hope you stop by and see what I’ve been posting. You won’t be disappointed. 🙂
Hi, my dearest Charlie! I was very glad to see you come back …full force! I’ve been offline for quite some time but now I’m back too! 😉 I know I won’t be disappointed! 🙂 🙂
ps I’m not a photographer and I’m aware of my ‘flaws’ in my photos, but I do enjoy capturing things my eyes see and then compare the outcome with my memory of them.
Hi! Marina, glad you are back! and thank you for reading my work. Hope you enjoyed every bit of it. 🙂
Not every photography is perfect. It’s all about how one captures the moment and feels the photography in their heart and soul that would make one happy.
Charlie, my dear friend, it is I who thank you for sharing your amazing talent… if that hasn’t answered your question: I enjoyed and enjoy every bit of your work, always! 🙂
I agree with you remark on photography!
🙂
The moon is waxing gibbous, and I’m waxing <gibbon… 🌒🌓🌔🌕🐵🙈🙉🙊👽😊
Superb photos, O Camera Goddess! My favorite was the dove shooting the moon 🐔🌕, but I could really identify with that first photo, the surging fiery red clouds, because that’s exactly how I feel whenever I visit this blog… 😜🚀🌒🌓🌔🌕💥🚑👽👽👽👽👽👽😊
From waxing gibbous to waxing gibbous I go! 😉 Your words sent me where …”no man has gone before” for a full Moon cycle! I humbly ask your forgiveness, my dear friend! 🙂 Please accept a year supply of ambrosia, courtesy of Zeus himself! 🍨🍨🍧🍨🍧🍨🍨🍧🍨🍧🍨🍨🍧🍨🍨🍧🍨🍧🍨🍨🍧🍨🍧🍨🍨🍧🍨🍨🍨🍧🍨🍨🍨🍨🍧🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍧🍨🍨🍨🍧🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍧🍨🍧🍨🍨🍧🍨🍧🍨🍨🍧🍨🍨🍧🍨🍧🍨🍨🍧🍨🍧🍨🍨🍧🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍧🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍧🍨🍨🍨🍨🍧🍨🍨🍨🍧🍨🍨🍨🍧

You captured a wonderful January. Surprised to learn that you have snow in the distance!
Many great pics … too difficult picking my favorite. Always love skies with orange, red, blues, white, and even grays.
Hera knows how to pose!
Oh, she does too! She’s a natural!
Yes, we do have snow in winter but this year we only had a few days of it just on the mountains surrounding Athens but no snow in the city. Maybe later. Still winter after all!
Hope you enjoyed the eclipse! 🙂
Thank you, my dear friend! Yamas! 🙂
That moonshot with (what looks like) a vulture is spectacular. Thanks
Ah, thank YOU, my dear John! I think it was probably a dove! Enjoy the Full Moon tonight! 🙂
