from Oannes blog…

Στο Ηρώδειο δεν ήμουν χτες [όπως ο …Κυριάκος Μητσοτάκης] αλλά στοιχηματίζω με ασφάλεια ότι το τραγούδι δεν υπήρχε στο playlist: Fylingdale Flyer, από τα άγνωστα αριστουργήματα των Jethro Tull [άλμπουμ: “A”, 1980] • I was not at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus [Herodion] yesterday [like …Kyriakos Mitsotakis was] however I can safely bet that “Fylingdale Flyer” was not in their playlist. One of Jethro Tull relatively unknown masterpieces [album ‘A”, 1980].

I prefer the Olympus Flyer which shuttles me directly to the Marina Kanavaki Art Gallery and serves free ambrosia in the dining car… 🚀🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨😋

Jethro Tull , AMAZING Band! Very influential to me in High School. At that time, my repeat bands were RUSH, Jethro Tull, Van Halen, AC/DC. I learned to play flute (sort of) because Jethro Tull was the only band to use flute in a TOTALLY different genre — in sort of a heavy rock genre — So, I wanted to play flute like that….never really got there, but flute is a wonderful instrument. Very Great band.
Great band indeed, my friend! I’m so glad Ian Anderson inspired you to learn flute!!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂
Yeah, he is a true talent and great composer of music. I really wanted to learn the flute, he was an inspiration. I never got very good, but it didn’t stop me from trying.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
You still can, never too late to learn. 😊
