…or should I say our ‘Gotcha’ day by Hera?!!!! Now, that seems right.

So, 3 years ago, on a sunny Saturday, this creature crept in our home and our hearts. When we adopted Hera, a pitbull mix, she was 2± years old [no way to know precisely].

The fairy godmother who brought her to our home was Giota Brakoumatsou [Γιώτα Μπρακουκάτσου] from Pitbull Rescue.gr. Goes without saying, we are forever grateful to her and she has our undivided love! ❤️

I wouldn’t mention the ‘breed’ [which is not a breed actually] if they didn’t have such a bad name. But after 3 years [not that we thought any different before] I can say that the only true danger about this type of dog, is incurable love! For those who have doubts… I’ve added a couple of videos at the end of the post.

Anyway, today we celebrate Hera coming home, so this is dedicated to her!

…and we’re having fun!!!!!!!!!
🐾“It’s my party and I play if I want to, play if I want to, play if I want to, you would play too if it happened to you”🐾
Hera wanted to share with you glimpses of her life…

🐾 I love meditating by the sea! 🐾
🐾 …going to the playground and taking long walks! 🐾

🐾 …playing at home! 🐾

🐾 …or chilling! 🐾

To anyone who’s thinking of bringing a dog into their family, please adopt! Shelters all over the world are full of beautiful doggies [or cats] who need a forever home and wait for the right family to give them their FULL and UNCONDITIONAL love! In other words:
Adopt Don’t Shop!

PS. to anyone out there who feels differently about pitbulls, who is still not convinced that the problem is not the breed but the owner, please respect Hera’s day and don’t leave us comments about ‘pitbull attacks’ etc…

Hera is a divine diva! Love her noble head and the way she crosses her paws. A very lucky lady to have a home with you.
A ha ha…. yes, the crossed paws is her signature pose! I think we’re the lucky ones!!! Thank you, my dear Laura! 🙂 xoxoxo
You cannot stereotype a breed anymore than you can stereotype a race. I am so glad you all found each other, she’s a beauty! ❤
