Tο πρώτο άλμουμ των Damned είναι ό,τι πιο ακραίο ακούστηκε στην διάρκεια της έκρηξης του βρετανικού πανκ, δείχνοντας ταυτόχρονα ένα μουσικό IQ απλησίαστο για τους περισσότερους συγχρόνους τους.
Παρεμπιπτόντως, είναι η πρώτη χρονολογικά κυκλοφορία της σκηνής – μήνες πριν από εκείνη των Sex Pistols.

The Damned debut album was the most extreme of the British punk explosion, while at the same time exposing a musical IQ far beyond most of their peers.
By the way, it’s the first chronological release of the scene – months before that of the Sex Pistols.
