Η μεταγενέστερη απόρριψη της ’80s περιόδου του, πρώτα-πρώτα από τον ίδιο τον Bowie, αδικεί κάποια σπουδαία πράγματα που έδωσε ακόμα και τότε. Με πρώτο και καλύτερο αυτό εδώ. Ο ίδιος είχε δηλώσει αργότερα ότι η παραγωγή του “Loving The Alien” είναι αδύναμη, σε σημείο που αδικεί την σύνθεση. Στα δικά μου αυτιά πάλι, αυτό δεν ακούγεται καθόλου…

The rejection of his 80s period, firstly by Bowie himself, was unfair to some great things he did even then. With this as a brilliant example. He later stated that the production of “Loving The Alien” is weak, to a point that it’s unjust to the composition. To my ears though, this is not the case at all…
