Η “ονειρική ποπ” κανονικά δεν θα έπρεπε να θεωρείται …κατηγορία μουσικής, όπως θεωρείται σήμερα, με επιφανείς εκπρόσωπούς της το ντουέτο των Beach House [Victoria (ανηψιά του Michel) Legrand, Alex Scally]. Αν όχι τίποτα άλλο γιατί, το να ανήκεις σ’ αυτήν ισοδυναμεί με περιορισμό στενότερο κι απ’ το να ανήκεις στο πανκ, το μέταλ ή την …σκέτη ποπ, ας πούμε.
Εν πάση περιπτώσει οι ετικέτες, μπροστά σε ακριβά τραγούδια όπως αυτό, ξεχνιούνται ευχαρίστως.

Normally, “Dream pop” should not be considered a …music genre, as it is today, featuring the Beach House duo [Victoria (Michel’s niece) Legrand, Alex Scally]. If nothing else, being labeled “dream pop” is even more limiting than being labelled “punk”, “metal” or, say …pure pop. Anyway, labels are easily forgotten when it comes to songs precious as this one.
