Σαν σήμερα, 3 Μαΐου 1933 η φωνή του James Brown ακούστηκε για πρώτη φορά στον κόσμο. Ένα κόσμο που έμελλε, μ’ αυτή τη φωνή, να τον αλλάξει.
Ετοίμασα ένα μικρό αφιέρωμα στον καλλιτέχνη που σημαίνει τόσο πολλά για τόσους πολλούς ανθρώπους.
Τον έχω δει δυο φορές ζωντανά. Η πρώτη ειδικά, early ’90s σε ένα μαγαζί στην παραλιακή, ήταν η πιο τρελή συναυλιακή εμπειρία της ζωής μου. Δεν μπορώ να φανταστώ πώς θα ήταν να τον βλέπεις από κοντά στα ’60s και τα ’70s…

On this date, May 3, 1933, James Brown‘s voice was heard for the first time, in a world he was meant to transform.
I’ve prepared a little tribute to the artist who means so much to so many.
I’ve seen the man live twice. Especially the first, in the early ’90s, was the most insane live experience in my life. I just can’t imagine how it must have been watching him back in the ’60s or the ’70s…
