For Mom…

She planted a yellow hibiscus in her garden.
Yesterday she looked closer and there it was,
out of all the yellow flowers,
one was half yellow – half orange/pink.
She was so happy
that I had to photograph it
and here it is.
Mom’s pink/orange-yellow hibiscus

  1. Oh, Marina, those are simply gorgeous flowers and I LOVE the orange, yellow, and pink shades. It’s amazing what miracles nature comes up with. Happy belated Mother’s Day to your Mom. Sending much love! 🌸🌸🌸

    • And Happy Mother’s day to you too, my dear Lauren. Mothers celebrate every day! 😉 Yes, nature surely comes up with miracles, and this one was so precious! ❤🤗❤🤗❤🤗

  2. Happy belated Mother’s Day, dear Marina’s mom!
That flower is exquisite, Marina, and wonderfully photographed!

    • Mothers should be celebrated every day so not at all belated! 😉
And happy mother’s day to you too!!!!
      Isn’t it just beautiful?
      Thank you, sweetie!
      Much love
      and many hugs!!!!!!!!!

  3. These are stunning. And beautifully photographed. Correction: your phone does not take good pictures. You take good pictures, using your phone. I can only imagine someone having a wonderful dinner and telling the host, “you must have an incredible pan.“ You have an eye. Might there be a watercolor?

  4. Hi Marina, happy mother’s day to your mom as well albeit a day late. Lovely images.
Thanks and much appreciated for sharing

    • I know… we were also fascinated with its uniqueness. There are about 15 blooms – all bright yellow, and there it is, one half yellow-half orange /pink! She is!!!!!! [still blooming] xoxoxoxoxo
