from Oannes * tribute to «cosmic» songs

Να είναι η ένταση της στιγμής ; – πρόκειται για εκδήλωση λίγο μετά το θάνατο του Bowie. Nα είναι το πρόσωπο του που δεσπόζει της σκηνής; να είναι ο οργανίστας που σηκώνεται όρθιος στο μέρος του mellotron; Από τις άφθονες πάντως διασκευές / εκτελέσεις του “Space Oddity” καμία δεν έχω ακούσει τόσο συγκινητική όσο αυτή η κατά γράμμα απόδοση του Steven Wilson.

Could it be the heat of the moment ? – this comes from a memorial concert shortly after Bowie‘s death. Could it be his face dominating the scene? Could it be the keyboard player rising for the mellotron part?
In any case, this one of Steven Wilson’s, is the most touching of the various “Space Oddity” covers I’ve heard.
