Ο Κουβανός Gonzalo Rubalcaba [συνεργασίες με Charlie Haden, Chick Corea, Al Di Meola, Ron Carter, Richard Galliano…] είναι ένας από τους κορυφαίους jazz πιανίστες στον κόσμο και αυτό δεν είναι απλώς προσωπική μου άποψη.
Από την εκτεταμένη δισκογραφία του διαλέγουμε το άλμπουμ Solo. Και από εκεί διαλέγουμε το “Quasar”. Είναι απίστευτο το τι αντλεί αυτός ο άνθρωπος από ένα δισύλλαβο, στοιχειώδες θέμα.

Cuban Gonzalo Rubalcaba [collab. with Charlie Haden, Chick Corea, Al Di Meola, Ron Carter, Richard Galliano…] is one of the top jazz pianists in the world and this is not just my personal opinion.
From his extensive discography we pick the album Solo. And from this one we pick “Quasar”.
It is unbelievable what this man derives from a two-syllable, elementary theme.
