Ποικίλοι χαρακτηρισμοί είχαν ακουστεί για τους Flamin’ Groovies εκεί πίσω στα ‘70s, από τον περί “Αμερικανών Stones”, μέχρι εκείνον που μιλούσε για “προάγγελους του punk rock”. Λόγια του αέρα, αυτό όμως δεν εμπόδισε το γκρουπ από το San Francisco να αφήσει πίσω του κάποια σπουδαία τραγούδια.
Όπως το “Shake Some Action” που τυχαίνει να είναι ένα από τα πιο αγαπημένα μου όλων των εποχών.

Various labels had been given to the Flamin’ Groovies back in the ’70s, from the “American Stones”, to the “harbingers of punk rock”.
Useless words, of course, but this did not prevent the group from San Francisco from releasing some great songs.
Like “Shake Some Action” which happens to be one of my all-time favorites.
