“Απόλλων Και Υάκινθος” είναι η πρώτη όπερα που έγραψε ο Wolfgang Amadeus, σε ηλικία 11 χρόνων. Η επίσημη μουσικολογική εκδοχή θέλει τα πρώτα αριστουργήματά του να προκύπτουν στα 17. Ίσως γι αυτό ένα κομμάτι όπως η άρια “Saepe Terrent Numina” δεν αντιμετωπίζεται ως αυτό που είναι: ένα αριστούργημα…Την ακούμε από την σοπράνο Venceslava Hruba – Freiberger.

“Apollo and Hyacinth” is the first opera written by Wolfgang Amadeus, at the age of 11. According to the official musicological narrative, his first masterpieces emerged at age 17. Maybe that’s why a piece like Aria “Saepe Terrent Numina” is not treated for what it is: a masterpiece…We hear it performed by the soprano Venceslava Hruba-Freiberger.
