Ο “Υπολοχαγός Κιγιέ” είναι ιστορία ενός φανταστικού στρατιώτη, δημιουργημένου από τις υπηρεσίες του Τσάρου για την κάλυψη κάποιου “γραφειοκρατικού λάθους”. Η μουσική του Prokofiev για την ομώνυμη ταινία του 1934 ήταν το πρώτο του soundtrack, από ο οποίο ακούμε ένα απόσπασμα.

“Lieutenant Kije” is the story of an imaginary soldier, created by the Tsar’s services to cover up some “bureaucratic error”.
Prokofiev’s music for the 1934 film of the same name was his first soundtrack, from which we hear an excerpt.
