One of the important Russian composers of a borderline period, Shostakovich’s teacher, Alexander Glazunov, was considered conservative by the avant-garde of his time to be appreciated without prejudice, much later.
We hear his concerto for violin, work no. 82. Ilya Kaler is the soloist, Camila Kolchinsky conducts the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra.

Enjoy!

As always, I’m happy to hear your thoughts, however I’d highly recommend a direct dialogue with the …’source’ [why comments are closed here], so please visit Oannes’ page where you can also listen to the song !
