Το ημι-ηλεκτρονικό έργο του John Adams από τα middle ‘80s, περιγραφόμενο από τον συνθέτη σαν “Συμφωνία για ορχήστρα χάλκινων πνευστών και συνθεσάιζερς] δεν ανήκει, παραδόξως, στα πιο διάσημά του. Είναι όμως μια απ’ τις προσωπικές μου προτιμήσεις στο χώρο του μίνιμαλ.
