At the beginning of the new millennium, the significant trumpeter – composer Terrence Blanchard releases Let’s Get Lost – a tribute to the music of Jimmy McHugh [1894 – 1969]. Four “jazz divas” participate οn it: Diana Krall, Jane Monheit, Dianne Reeves, Cassandra Wilson. We hear the first one of them [voice, piano] on the title track. Lyrics by Frank Loesser.
