Οι Moody Blues είναι παράλογα υποτιμημένοι από μια εποχή και μετά, σχεδόν λησμονημένοι σήμερα [με την εξαίρεση του ‘Nights In White Satin’ – όχι ακριβώς αντιπροσωπευτικού του επιπέδου τους].
Να φταίνε οι “πομπώδεις” στίχοι; να φταίνε οι “εντελώς uncool” φυσιογνωμίες τους;
Σε οποιαδήποτε περίπτωση, τραγούδια όπως αυτό εδώ, μου ακούγονται όχι απλώς σύγχρονα, αλλά από το μέλλον…

From their album – masterpiece, In Search Of The Lost Chord – 1968.
Moody Blues are absurdly underrated from an era onwards, almost forgotten today [with the exception of ‘Nights In White Satin’ – not exactly representative of their level].
Could it be the “pompous” lyrics? Could it be their “totally uncool” figures?
In any case, songs like this one sound to me not just contemporary, but from the future…
