Από τους σημαντικούς εθνικιστές συνθέτες του 19ου αι. [καλλιτέχνες που ενσωματώνουν στο έργο τους στοιχεία από την πολιτιστική κληρονομιά των χωρών τους ] ο “Πατέρας της Τσέχικης μουσικής” Bedřich Smetana [1824-1984] ξεκινάει τον διάσημο κύκλο των συμφωνικών ποιημάτων του ‘Má Vlast’ – ‘Η Πατρίδα Μου’, με αυτήν την απεικόνιση του θρυλικού κάστρου Vyšehrad στην Πράγα – σύμβολου της τσεχικής εθνικής ταυτότητας.

One of the important nationalist composers of the 19th [artists who incorporate elements from the cultural heritage of their countries in their work ] the “Father of Czech music” Bedřich Smetana [1824-1884] begins his famous cycle of symphonic poems ‘Má Vlast’ – ‘My Country’, with this depiction of the legendary Vyšehrad Castle in Prague – a symbol of Czech national identity.
