Ακούμε ένα απ΄τα μέρη της συμφωνικής του σουίτας Sheherazade, βασισμένης στις Χίλιες Και Μια Νύχτες : The Story Of The Calendar Prince.
✻Keeping in touch with in the National Schools and the musicians of March, we go to Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov [1844-1908], a member of the group The Five [Balakirev, Cui, Mussorgsky, Korsakov, Borodin] an important composer, leading arranger and teacher, whose work includes mainly symphonic compositions, operas, songs and chamber music.
We hear a part of his symphonic suite Sheherazade, based on A Thousand and One Nights : The Story Of The Calendar Prince. Lorin Maazel is conducting the Berliner Philharmonic.

Together we have a band MK-O [the music of Marina Kanavaki & Oannes]. So, it’s my pleasure to share with you his [and sometimes mine] musical selections. • Do visit his site. He has my highest recommendation!
