Αν και πρόκειται για ένα ακόμα one hit wonder (‘Οι Παλιάτσοι’), ο Ruggero Leoncavallo (1857-1919) ανήκει στις ιδιαίτερες περιπτώσεις του April born club. Αναρωτιέμαι άλλωστε πόσο ανάξιο ακρόασης μπορεί να είναι το έργο του ανθρώπου που έχει γράψει μια όπερα όπως αυτή. Ακούμε αποσπάσματα, στους κύριους ρόλους οι Plácido Domingo, Montserrat Caballé.

Although he is another hit wonder (‘Pagliacci’), Ruggero Leoncavallo (1857-1919) belongs to the special cases of the April born club. Besides, I wonder how unworthy of hearing the work of the man who’s written such an opera can be. We hear excerpts, with Plácido Domingo, Montserrat Caballé in the main roles .
