Από το αχανές τοπίο μιας καριέρας διαρκείας 6 δεκαετιών, αυτής του Αυστραλού John Christopher Williams, μεγαλύτερου εν ζωή κλασικού κιθαρίστα, ακούμε 3 κομμάτια, τιμώντας τον ως μέλος του April Born Musicians Club. Δύο από ισάριθμους δίσκους των Sky, prog fusion γκρουπ στο οποίο συμμετείχε από το 1978 μέχρι το 1984 : ‘Ballet-Volta’ (00:00), διασκευή Praetorius & ’To Yelasto Pedi (Theme From Z)’ (02:50), του Θεοδωράκη. Και ένα από σόλο κυκλοφορία : ‘La Catedral’ (06:54), του Παραγουανού κιθαρίστα – συνθέτη Agustin Barrios, τον οποίο ο Williams, λάτρης του, σύστησε σε ένα ευρύ ακροατήριο.

From the vast landscape of a career lasting 6 decades, that of the Australian born John Christopher Williams, greatest living classical guitarist, we hear 3 tracks, honoring him as a member of the April Born Musicians Club. Two from an equal number of albums by Sky, the prog fusion group in which he participated from 1978 to 1984 : ‘Ballet-Volta’ (00:00), Praetorius cover & ‘To Yelasto Pedi (Theme From Z’) (02:50), by Theodorakis. And one from a solo release : ‘La Cathedral’ (06:54), by Paraguayan guitarist-composer Agustin Barrios, whom Williams, a huge fan, introduced to a wide audience.
