Waiting for Ressurection Night, we’re listening to ‘Notte Funesta … Ferma L’ Ali’ – Recitative and aria from Georg Friedrich Handel’s Oratorio per la Resurezzione di Nostro Signor Gesù Cristo (Oratorio for the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ). A youthful creation, from the days the 22-year old Handel spent in Italy.
