Οι Lords Of The New Church φτιάχτηκαν από τον κιθαρίστα των Damned, Brian James – αφού άφησε το συγκρότημα του οποίου ήταν ο αποκλειστικός συνθέτης, και τον Stiv Bators – τραγουδιστή και κινητήρια δύναμη των Dead Boys, μετά τη διάλυσή τους. Η διάρκεια των Lords ήταν σχετικά σύντομη, από το 1981 μέχρι το 1989, αν και μεγαλύτερη απ’ όσο θα περίμενε κανείς από το background των ιδρυτών της (ένα χρόνο μετά, ο Stiv Bators μετατρεπόταν σε literally dead boy). Κυκλοφόρησαν τρία άλμπουμ αφήνοντας το δικό τους στίγμα στη ροκ σκηνή των ‘80s. Το τραγούδι που ακούμε προέρχεται από το δισκογραφικό τους ντεμπούτο.

The Lords Of The New Church were formed by The Damned guitarist Brian James – having left the band of which he was the exclusive songwriter, and Stiv Bators – vocalist and driving force of the Dead Boys, after their breakup. The group’s life was relatively short, from 1981 to 1989, though longer than one would expect given the founders’s background (a year later, Stiv Bators was turning into a literally dead boy). They released three albums, making their mark on the ‘80s rock scene. The song we hear is from their debut album.
