Orange is an interesting color. Like other colors, so variants with its shades. A color to sees to stand out … to accent … and would have been an interesting post to collaborate. 🙂 Ahhh … the memories. 🙂

I should post some things, I haven’t really painted in several years but I have quite a few paintings. I love abstract but they never turn out good for me while yours is amazing. 😘❤️😘

Your blending of dark and light colours allows the message of the “Orange Tree” to spread through the branches. You showcase both vibrancy and calmness. Brilliant!

Spare and simple. Beautiful washes. And you knew exactly when to stop.

Ah, thank you so much! It’s a great point you’re making. Fortunately I had a great tutor who helped me realize that early on… It’s an on going process though that entails a very full garbage bin!😉

I just thought of this: a blank sheet of paper is in harmony with itself. You put something on it and that disrupts that harmony, but soon the work you are developing creates a new harmony within the work itself. Taking that too far then introduces another disharmony. Thus, knowing when to stop is crucial, but the aspect of harmony gives the artist a clue.

Excellent point! And yes, it’s a quest for harmony! 🙂

So warm and expresses transition beautifully! The sweetness of summer’s ending and the slight bitterness of approaching winter. Thank you for sharing…
