Από το ‘Star Of Jupiter’, του jazz κιθαρίστα Kurt Rosenwinkel, πετάμε στο ‘Star Of Sirius’, κομμάτι από το πρώτο σόλο άλμπουμ που o Steve Hackett κυκλοφόρησε το 1975, ενώ ακόμα ανήκε στο κλασικό line-up των Genesis. Στα lead vocals, …προφητικώ τω τρόπω, ως guest, ο Phil Collins.

From jazz guitarist Kurt Rosenwinkel’s ‘Star of Jupiter’, we fly to ‘Star Of Sirius’, a piece from the first solo album Steve Hackett released in 1975, while still a member of the classic line-up of Genesis.
On lead vocals, in a …prophetic manner, Phil Collins, a guest on the album.

❝ Above the colour of amber stained evening
An audience danced
Led by a showering hand that brings water
An audience danced
Led by a showering hand that brings water
To both sea and land
Unlock the door of night
Nebulous bright
Again renewed by the vessels of Isis
You’re ready to fly
Although the journey is still far from ended
You gaze at the sky
Above the cloudless night
Nebulous bright
He who knows love knows who you are
Worlds you may find lit by a star
He who knows love knows who you are
Worlds you may find lit by a star
Again renewed by the vessels of Isis
You’re ready to fly
He who knows love knows who you are
Worlds you may find lit by a star…❞

Enjoy!

* For my friends who didn’t know, or first timers here, Oannes [aka Socratis Papahatzis] is my husband, partner in life and music and the one with my undying admiration. Together we have a band MK-O [the music of Marina Kanavaki & Oannes]. So, it’s my pleasure to share with you his [and sometimes mine] musical selections. Do visit his site. He has my highest recommendation!
