Ο Pierre Attaingnant δεν ήταν συνθέτης, αλλά [μουσικός και, κυρίως] διάσημος τυπογράφος – εκδότης μουσικών έργων διαφόρων συνθετών. Θεωρείται ο άνθρωπος που έθεσε τα στάνταρ της τέχνης του για τους επόμενους δυο αιώνες.
Ακούμε μια σειρά χορευτικών κομματιών εποχής, από μια από τις αναρίθμητες συλλογές του. Αποδίδουν οι Doulce Memoire.

Pierre Attaingnant was not a composer, but [a musician and, basically] a famous typographer – publisher of musical works by various composers.
He is considered the man who set the standards of his art for the next two centuries.
We hear a series of period dance pieces from one of his numerous collections, performed by Doulce Memoire.
