Σαν σήμερα, 8 Απριλίου 1692 γεννήθηκε ο Giuseppe Tartini, μπαρόκ συνθέτης, βιτρουόζος και δάσκαλος του βιολιού. Το συνθετικό του έργο αφορά ως επί το πλείστον σονάτες και κονσέρτα για το σολιστικό του όργανο.
Σε προηγούμενο post έχουμε ανεβάσει την ιδιοσυγκρασιακή, “Gothic” προσέγγιση της Vanessa Mae στην πιο γνωστή σύνθεση του Tartini, της “Τρίλιας του Διαβόλου” [πολύ ενδιαφέρουσα, καμία σχέση με το kitsch με το οποίο η κα Mae έχει συνδέσει το όνομά της].
Σήμερα έχουμε τη Σονάτα σε σολ μινόρε, έργο 2 αρ. 7. Την ακούμε από τους: Fabio Biondi – βιολί, Maurizzio Nadeo – τσέλο, Rinaldo Alessandrini – τσέμπαλο, Pascal Monteilhet – θεόρβη…

On this date, April 8, 1692, Giuseppe Tartini, baroque composer, violin virtuoso & teacher, was born. His work is comprised mostly of sonatas and concertos for his solo instrument.
In a previous post, we have uploaded Vanessa Mae’s idiosyncratic, “Gothic” approach to Tartini’s most famous composition, “Devil’s Trill” [very interesting, nothing like the kitsch mrs. Mae has associated her name with].
Today we have his Sonata in G minor, op. 2 no. 7. We hear it from: Fabio Biondi – violin, Maurizzio Nadeo – cello, Rinaldo Alessandrini – harpsichord, Pascal Monteilhet – theorbe…
