Mozart.

The Glass Harmonica, one of Benjamin Franklin’s inventions (!) consists of a series of glass bowls of growing [or …declining] size, which produce musical tones through gentle friction with moist fingers.
One of the many leading composers involved in it was W.A. Mozart. We hear his Adagio K 356 performed by Bruno Hoffmann, followed by Johannes Brahms’s luscious duet “Die Meere” [“The Sea”], sung by soprano Letizia Scherrer and mezzo Franziska Gottwald.
