Στο έργο του AA το βυζαντινό μέλος εμπλουτίζεται με στοιχεία από την δυτική πολυφωνική παράδοση. Το αποτέλεσμα, όπως ακούμε, είναι σπάνιας ομορφιάς και κατανυκτικότητας.
