Είναι απίστευτο αλλά, μόλις προ ολίγου πληροφορήθηκα τον θάνατο από καρκίνο του Chick Corea – τρεις μέρες μετά το γεγονός [αυτές είναι οι πληροφοριακές παρενέργειες της κορωνοκατάστασης].
Εκτός από μουσικός που θαύμαζα και αγαπούσα, ήταν επίσης ένα από τα πιανιστικά μου είδωλα. Ο Chick Corea ήταν, τη στιγμή του θανάτου του, ένας νεαρός 79 χρόνων.
Ξεκινάω ένα αφιέρωμα σ’ αυτόν με το podcast που είχα ανεβάσει πέρσι στις 12 Ιουνίου, τελευταία επέτειο των γενεθλίων του.

It is unbelievable that, just a few moments before I discovered about the death of Chick Corea from cancer, three days after the event [these are the side effects on information of the coronavirus situation].
Apart from being a musician I admired and loved, he was one of my ultimate piano idols. Chick Corea was a 79 years old youngster, at the time of his death.
I start a tribute to him with last year’s podcast on the 12th of June, his b-day.

Me too. Being a very actively creative artist, this came as a shock to us. Absolute legend indeed.
I was introduced to Chick Corea in the mid 70s what incredible music he produced over the years. He was still too much to young to go,
He really was too young and he was getting better and better (as if he wasn’t brilliant already!)!
A very sad day. My high school boyfriend introduced me to Return to Forever and Chick and Al separately. Fond memories and wonderful music.
